Mara Yamauchi is Britain’s second fastest female marathon runner of all time and a two-time Olympian. Having retired from competitive running, she is now a qualified athletics coach. In what promises to be a fabulous evening, she will share with us her advice on how to get the best from yourself as an endurance athlete, whatever level you are at. She will also be on-hand after the presentation for individual questions and to show us her medal collection. If you are interested in finding out what it takes to be an Olympian and how to improve your running, this is a night not to be missed!
